As Congress considers a potential infrastructure package, U.S. businesses and investors are calling on lawmakers to:
Build back better, seeking to build a more just and resilient economy, including considering the threat of climate change.
Ensure that investments in infrastructure prioritize emissions reductions, good-paying clean energy jobs, and environmental justice to secure a sustainable future.
Enact policies to mitigate climate risk and put the U.S. on a path to reach 50% of 2005 emissions by 2030 and zero emissions by 2050.
Register for LEAD on Climate 2021 | May 11 and 12
On May 11 and 12, companies and investors will come together to call for bold climate action. During LEAD on Climate 2021, businesses across the country and sectors of the U.S. economy will call on Congress to pass an infrastructure package that addresses the urgent threat of climate change and will build a more just and resilient economy.
The entire event will be online. Training and briefings will be held on May 11 and meetings with lawmaker offices will be held via Zoom on May 12.
Due to limited capacity, we are limiting participation to companies with major facilities in the United States and $100 million or more annual revenue or investors with greater than $125 million in assets under management/supervision.
